Power of Expression is a school based program which integrates expressive arts activities with youth lead participatory action research methodologies. The program is designed to foster a safe open space for participants to engage in conversation about relevant community issues. The youth lead projects typically culminate in a final community performance showcasing their research process, findings, and proposals. Students involved in the program gain a greater understanding of how to be effective leaders and change agents at their schools and in their communities.
